-=====DELIBERATING UNIVERSITIES=====
-We are a network gathering universities which organize students’ deliberation, mainly through citizens’ assemblies, on their environment policy, or contemplate doing it next year. It was officially launched at the Conference //“Deliberation in action”// organized by **Paris Est Créteil University (UPEC)** November 17th 2023 in Fontainebleau. The deliberative practices at UPEC, Nantes University and UNIL were presented and a roundtable allowed us to get a broader overview of our past, ongoing and planned deliberative processes.
-This wiki allows us to share our experience broadly for pedagogical, scientific and transformative purposes.
-We organize regular meetings and will convene our first conference in spring 2025.

-**SCA Activities:** UNIL actively engages in the promotion of civic participation and democratic discourse. The university supports initiatives like the Citizen Assembly. Within UNIL the Transition Assembly was organized, which was a is an experimental participatory system. It is made up of 60 people drawn at random from the university community in order to best reflect its diversity (in terms of body and faculties). The Assembly was a place for discussion aimed at formulating measures to achieve the objectives set by Management in terms of ecological and social transition.
